Smile 1st Post and Such

Hi All!

Saw the photo of the B King in the latest Cycle World magazine and was pretty impressed. Started doing a bit of research and stumbled upon this motley crew!

I haven't seen any mention of US pricing - what's the usual timing for pricing before model release for Suzuki? Any thoughts on pricing? Personally I'm kinda hoping it's inline with the Hayabusa (I think I can squeeze that price past the SO! )

As I was reading through the thread, I did notice a quote that was kind of interesting:

Quote:

There's a microphone and a speaker built in the bike so the owner can speak with the thief by the phone. If a speaking motorcycle doesn't scare off the thief, you can activate light and sound alarm and the GPS system helps locating the bike if it actually gets stolen. Doesn't sound like any of these features will make into the production model.
Personally, I'd be glad the fingerprint recognition system was off the production model. I can see it now - getting all geared up and getting ready to go and... OH !@#!@# I gotta take my glove off to start the bike!

Also, has anyone gotten confirmation if the bike will be at the CW Int'l Motorcycle Show? I thought I had read somewhere that it would be. If it looks as good as the photos I've seen, I may be putting a deposit down somewhere!

Have a good one folks!
alow

Anyway, I look forward to spending some more time here - especially as more word of the B King comes out.

I think those are some of the coolest front blinkers I've ever seen. It's a great looking beast.

I hate the brake fluid reservoar, it is just soo wrong.
and the pipes look really funy from a 3/4 back. All that bravado and this little details are spoiling the whole thing. And I'm shure they'll get it all wrong with the mirrors.

Damn, that bike is ugly as hell. looks like someone wacked the %%%% out a good looking bike with the ugly sledge hammer a few to many times..... looks like it fell into a trash compactor or something. ... maybe it'll look better in person (actually, it HAS to look better in person, it can't get uglier lol)

I agree with you on the fluid resevior. It just kinda hangs out there. Why couldn't they use a nice tidy aluminum piece???

Default New pictures

Hi All,

I received an email this morning from Suzuki.

There are new updates (pictures, etc) at:
Suzuki GB: B-King motorcycle microsite

Obviously this is a UK site so the actual details will probably vary with us folks on the other side of the pond.

I don't like the look of the thing from the rear. Other than that I think I could live with it.....
