| Umm, no. BMX pegs are meant for bikes weighing less than 30 lbs, travelling less than 30 mph, and falling over into dirt. They will in no way whatsoever protect your bike. Buy the best quality pegs you can afford. Better yet, get some training so your chances of a tip-over are slimmed.

1. Buy a fender eliminator (this is the expensive choice) http://www.competitionwerkes.com/ makes 'em for Kats. Look around at the various online bike stores for choices and prices. 2. Use a dremel or hand saw or utility knife to chop/cut off the shovel/fender either flush with the bike, or cut off only part of it; and now you have several additional choices for where & how to mount the plate and blinkers, and whether you want after-market stuff (smaller, LED, short stalk), etc. Quote:
It's harder to find frame sliders for Kats than for GSXRs, etc.; and Kats aren't pre-drilled for them. Sport touring bikes, and all that jazz. Take the MSF course. Last edited by nurider; 09-01-2005 at 03:45 PM. Reason: adding info | ||

| I To Have A Katana And I Have Been To Several Parts Stores And Done Alot Of Lookin On The Internet. I Have Determined The Only Way To Put Sliders On This Bike Is To Drill In The Frame. I Choose Not To. As Far As The Tail/fender. U Will Have To Use A Dremel Tool Or A Swazall. Good Luck. I Decided Not To Change That And Just Buy A Gsxr Next Year In 06
