| I have a chance to purchase a 98 gsxr 600 blue & amp with low miles, good condition and comes with agv helmet and a jacket for $2500. I may go look at it, is there any common problems for this year that I should be aware of? Anything else I should know about this bike? Thanks |

| My first Gixer was a 98 SRAD 600. Great bike! They are quite a raw ride compared to newer sportbikes, but very rewarding.

| Not much different to the newer Gixers, I found it ok, but any sportsbike will have a degree of agression in the seating position. I think its a personal thing though, why don't you try one on for size.....?

| Do you have more detail. How many miles, does it have clean title, been laid over, what aftermarket parts. But i think it sounds like a real good deal. Ive owned a 97 600 and it was a great bike so i say thumbs up. O and that gear could easily cost 400 or more so keep that in mind less you would have to buy. |

| Banned | I am not sure if you bought the bike or not, but I wanted to add my 2 cents... I just recently purchased a 1998 Red and Black GSXR 600 SRAD, 8,000 miles for $3,000 last month. My bike is in mint condition surprisingly. I have noticed compared to the other bikes that mine is or atleast to me seems HUGE. Maybe because I am so little (5'1" 98 pounds) but when I am flying on it, I can literally lay on the gas tank and hide..lol. Some of the other bikes I have rode on before seemed so little or skinny as I say. I enjoy a bigger bike then the skinner ones, my option. I did have to get used to the bending over and the different way I sit on it now compared to my little Ninja250, but all in all my Suzuki is a comfortable bike to sit on and ride all day on. I hope you enjoy the bike if you bought it!!! I enclosed some PICS, sorry they are so small, damn camera phone |
