|  Cruiser to Sportbike
My first post here, WooWoo. I currently ride a Kawasaki 800 Vulcan Classic (cruiser). Before I bought it I seriously looked at a Suzuki GS 500F. I bought the Kawa from a very sick friend who specifically wanted me to have it (he knows I take very good care of my toys) and he kept lowering the price until I couldn't say no. BUT, I still lust after that Suzuki. I rode dirt bikes for years, but this is my first pure street bike so I guess that makes me a newbie? Any one else here switched from a cruiser to a sportbike and did you regret it? I mainly just ride the 20 miles to and from work with very little "cruising" around. (no time and a spouse that doesn't like bikes). The thing that I have the biggest question about is - about three miles of my commute is on gravel roads. Is the cruiser better or worse than a sportbike on gravel? Thanks for any responses.
