Default Squid Q!

Just wonderin the proper way to "Clutch it Up?"
Ive been trying but a lil confused on proper hand positioning.
I dont want to rip my clutch lever off bye using more than two fingers; however, i find it hard to hold on to the kick~

Also, should i be helpin it up or just let the bike jack itself up?
should it be a smooth movement upwards or relatively jerky?

layinlo. . . .

P.S. for the safety seekers out their: "I know, I know, I know..."
