Do a search. We just had a similar thread where a guy was comparing different bikes . . . the Bandit 1200 being one of them.

Pros: Great torque, good ergos, good wind protection, awesome aftermarket support (ask me when you own one), decent handling, great longevity...

Cons: A bit buzzy at certain speeds, crap headlights, no sixth gear (not really a big deal), so-so seat.

Like Landry said, there are several other threads out there, along with numerous magazine reviews.

Ive heard nothing but good things about them they are basically a gsxr with a more upright seatng position,of course the suspension and brakes probably arent as good but still a good bike

Cool

I have to agree with Rowdy. The lights are crap. Don't even think about riding on dims at night. Otherwise, a nice ride.

For a majority of riders, even experienced ones, it seems to have enough power. I have a riding buddy that has one and he rides it hard and it seems to do what he wants it to. He said handleing is ok. It's def a more upright seated position and standard feel, which should be obvious since it's nekkid.

Wow, how many times did you have to try that to work it out? I've been riding with the high beams on all the time. It's amazing how rarely I get flashed about it. Just shows how dim they are.

With dims only at night, the light ends abruptly about 50 feet in front of the bike. Very easy to overrun.

I managed to make it work in one shot. I'm pretty darn happy about it, especially since I have a 5000 mile, 10 day trip planned for June. I'm getting my Givi luggage set up this month.
