Any Difference in the 2005,2006 GSX-R1000 Models - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

i am looking to get a 2006 GSX-R1000 when they come out in oct, nov but i was wondering if there is any real difference in the 2005 and the new 2006 model, cause if there aint a difference i might just get the 05 model and save some money..

I doubt that there will be any significant changes in 2006 ... they just did a major makeover for 2005 ...

they redid the lights at least. it looks a little bit more aggressive and they have reflectors and turn signals on the mirrors. i have no idea about the performance.
