| Sprocket Pilot ![]() | I posted this on TLplanet, but the feedback was as expected, no good. Just wanted to try it once more on a different "battleground". I've sort of got the picture that the TLR has a handling problem. Has anyone of you seen this TL Video (Download the Fastbikes clip @ 29.5MB) ? The guy riding there rides like a maniac, but anyhow, he is a professional roadracing rider (#67 Shane Byrne) and knows how to handle a bike. You can see that he's running wide at several occasions, and then I start to wonder. Is it the bike, or the rider. If this sounds like a common problem, how many of you have gone from stock to f.ex Öhlins dampers ? Just have to get some feedback on this before I open my wallet. Anyways, TLR is a beauty with cohones

| Muscle Biker ![]() | I haven't downloaded the video (I'm at work - shhhh!) but I don't think that changing the shock manufacturer will have as much effect as actually taking the time to setup your suspension correctly (see the Sticky from 'Nut for instructions). If you have setup everything properly, and the suspension is still bottoming out when you ride, then you may need new (or to rebuild your current) shocks.

| Sprocket Pilot ![]() | Nevertheless, I most likely will buy it, it's just for the information. How many of you are riding a complete stock bike ? Many of you have probably gone "ballistic" and bought yourself a race can. Others have invested in suspension, brakes or any other accessories. Just nice to know what I could do to make a better bike and where to start |

| I'm riding stock. I am not into racing, and keepin up with the next person (Thought I owned the road with my first bike, CRASH!!). I have bought a TRE though, for smoother shifting. I bought it with a power commander already installed. I have also instaled some frame sliders, K&N airfilter, clear taillight. It has Vance & Hines pipes. Hopefully soon a different color windscreen, and some other odds and ends! ....by the way, does anyone else have Vance & Hines pipes on thier Suzuki. I know this is not real common, like the Yoshimira pipes, but they do sound real good! |

| D&D from what I hear (Hear - Get it!) has an reputation for being a tad louder than others. I believe these are stock pipes here http://www.tlplanet.com/forums/showt...threadid=44381. Since you're on the Planet, you should be able to check it out. Part of these bikes is knowing about the rear suspension problems that have plagued this particular model. Does the Tiller you're looking at have the aftermarket Ohlins installed already? Or are you looking at adjusting the Rotary Damper that it comes stock with? If it's the stock rear suspension, it would benefit from the aftermarket Ohlin's made for it. It's up to you to buy the aftermarket sttering damper of your choice when it comes to easing headshake.
