Default Chain lube?

What's the best way to lube my chain?

It has been sitting for a good part of the winter, I have taken it out but it really needs to be lubed.

Thanks in advance...

Do gixxers have a center stand? Probably not?

If you have a center stand or a rear stand it's easier because it lifts the back tire off the ground and you can just spin the rear tire and spray the lube. If you don't have a stand, it would work best to get a friend to help you.

One of you sit on the bike and slowly duck walk it and the other one spray the chain. If you don't have help, you'll have to roll the bike forward a few feet, get off, spray the chain, get back on, roll it, get off and spray...etc.

I have tried them all over the years. If you want one that will NOT fling off all over the rear tire and everywhere else, and that is a deep penetrating lube, give Maxima a try.I won't use anything else.

Thanks

Thats the stuff!

Kerosine (sp?) is the best thing to get your chain clean, diesel works in a pinch as well.
