|  New rider here!
Hey everyone, I have been reviewing these and other forums for a few weeks now. I just completed the MSF course and need to get 1. Bike and 2. Gear! I am lucky i live in Miami FL so finding a used bike is pretty easy. I need help in deciding between a used SV650, Ninja 500, or Katana 600. I have been reading around and they arent TOO powerful to start off on. These became my ultimate choices after reviewing for a while. and was told that the ninja 500 might not be enough for me (6'1 180lbs) I have some experience with dirt bikes and also 4-wheelers and i drive a manual car, so doing the MSF course was pretty easy for me. Any suggestions please? Also, GEAR, should i visit some local shops and try out stuff there? or is there good online store where i can get jackets and helmets? I assume it would be better to try on helmets and even jackets first. Thanks, Mike |
