| Forensic Bug Splatter Analyst. ![]() | Going larger for looks will ruin the way the bike handles. Stick with that "skinny" 180!

| Seat Tester | if you didn't know, going with a larger tire will adversely affect the handling of the bike. it is not worth it. keep the 180. if you still insist on a wider tire, go buy a chopper and sell the gixxer.

| I second that. I put ten-speed tires on my mountain bike one time and it just SUCKED on the trails.

| Sprocket Pilot ![]() | Interesting. I wondered the same thing. I personally like the big wide fat tires on the back of the bikes. My friend took his 02 Gixxer 750 and put a 200 tire on the rear. He swears he doesn't feel the difference in the handling. When it came to me...I asked my friend...I call the "Super Mechanic" his comment was, "it has a 180 on it..keep it that way." For me I chose to stay with what the bike came standard with.

| LOL. Squids are so named because they don't take corners. You have to corner to feel it.
