Well thanks to all your help I decided I will buy that SV650s to replace my 95 Katana 750. Now I'm a bit nervous about it being overpriced and would like your thoughts. Its a 2004 SV650S with 1,100 miles. It has full fairings, but other than that its stock. There are some minor scrapes on the sides (no sliders) and on a mirror back, but otherwise it looks pristine. He wants $5,000 for it which based on the NADA and KBB sites is considered average/high retail (although there is no allowance for milage and this bike is low). Ther eis also still some factory warranty left (not sure how much) So what are your thoughts on the price? On another related question, how hard is it to sell a bike? If I buy this one I will need to sell my Katana. I'm not looking for a lot of money ($2,000 to 2,500). Will I have a hard time selling it this time of year? |
