Default my first bike!

bought a 2004 left over gs500f getting it thursday its my first bike. any ideas or input?

That's a pretty sweet starter from what I here. I nearly got that instead of my SV. Be careful dude. You can get very confindent, very quick. My advise, is this: pretend you've never riden a bike before, so you stay super cautious. Good luck and have fun.

GS500F - Good start!

Now ...
Get Gear.
Take the MSF.
Read your owner's manual.
Learn how to do basic maintanance (oil chain, safety check, etc.)
Start slowly, don't ride beyond your limits.
