Talking regular vs high mount

Someone said to me that with a highmount exhaust bikes lose power. Can anyone confirm this to be true or false.

Horse hockey. The extra few inches of open pipe doesn't mean squat.

As long as it's mandrel bent the exhaust should flow smoother then a fart out of your colon.

Running rich is just as bad, especially if the choke is stuck!

Actually, I just read in a rag the other day that they weigh more and, due to the extra lenght of pipe required to make the routing under the seat, they have more restriction than a 'regular' exhaust. For street riders like us, the difference is so small we'll never notice it.

He didn't say "underseat mount". That's a different story.

What about the heat factor on the high mount vs. standard?

Anyone notice any difference on the back of your leg???

Well my Scorpion can is much cooler then you'd think it would be. And no it's not anywhere near your legs so you won't feel anything. I will tell you that in the winter time or say fall for you having a high mount can is a great thing. Everytime I stopped at a light I could sit up and lean back a bit and just rest my right hand on the can and viola instand hand warmer!!!!

I know I've posted this pic before but really Gina, your bike would look awesome with a high mount black can from Holeshot!!

I know your gonna love the black can too!!
