Default NEW GS500F, Advice on if good bike for a woman rider?

My wife and I plan on taking the MSF in the next couple weeks. I ride a 2003 GSXR 1000, and I am wanting to know if the new GS500F would be a good bike for my wife. It would be her first bike?

Thanks for any feedback

The GS seems to be a popular choice for beginner riders. Make sure that she is comfortable on it and she should be good to go. BTW, welcome!

The GS500 (with the F or not), is a great choice for a beginner. Powerful but not too much.

Have fun on your MSF.

Hey! The GS 500 would be an awesome choice. I'm a female and I just got my first bike in October (GS500). I had sat on several other bikes, but always felt intimidated. The GS 500 is a bit smaller and it feels less intimidating and my feet can touch the ground flat when I sit on it which is really important too (I'm 5'5'').
