Default bandit handlebar vibrations

have purchased an 05 naked bandit, plagued with an appalling handlebar vibration at the critical rev range 4000 - 5000, total loss of feeling in fingers of both hands after 2hrs riding, have changed front sprocket etc but this only moved the vibration to a differnt rev range, anyone else experiencing this problem ?

If it's bearable, don't sweat it until about 3000 miles from now. If it's still a problem, synch the carbs. These motors smooth out considerably after break-in.

If, however, it truly is "apalling" and makes you numb, you may want to have the dealer do it now. Either you're overly sensitive or something's wrong.

BTW, sprockets don't change where in the rpm range a motor resonates. That's a function of it's design.

Having the chain too tight will give vibration, but as this is a brand new bike this shouldn't be an issue, same as a dropped bike might vibrate but again if its new it shouldn't be an issue.
Run the bike in like advised and see if it changes....

Heavier barends will dampen the vibration you feel. Greater mass...blah blah blah... objects in motion... blah blah blah... Taipei 101...

Bandits come with pretty stout ends. You'd have to hang a dumbell on 'em.

Some folks fill hte bars with lead shot . . . or a bar snake. There's options. New grips, etc.

Google!!

Default Bandit handlebar vibrations

Hey all, appreciate the help offered, finally got it sorted, unbalanced wheel/tyres. unbalanced carbies, made my own bar snake, put risers on the handlebars, went around the bike and tightened evreything by quarter to half a turn. A real piss off at the time, but then in real life **** happens, "right" thanks again folks, things just take a little longer to happen down here in New Zealand.

Cool. It would be sad to see a Bandit go unenjoyed.
