Default NEW INTRUDER VS 800

Ok, i had one of these in 99. i loved it, but had to sell it when my kids hit high school. What can you all tell me about the newer ones. My kids are grown and gone, and I just bought a 2004 VS800 intruder, and think it is awesome. My wife loves it. I will never give up riding again! larry

Basically the same bike it's been for the last ten yrs. No changes needed, why mess with a good thing ?.

Congratulations on your new ride. I bought a 2002 Intruder VS800 a year ago, slightly used. (only 2600 miles) I love it. It came with saddlebags, windshield and hwy bars. I've added some extras, will post pic soon. It's great for around town and short to moderate hwy riding. If you are planning on a long ride you'll probably get about 100-110 miles on the gas tank, this will give you the opportunity to get some circulation back into your rearend. But I wouldn't trade mine for anything. Good luck and keep your mouth closed when riding unless you pack floss with you. LOL

No reason not to wear a full face on a cruiser, keeps bugs out of your teeth and keeps your teeth in your mouth should you face plant.
