Talking New Gloves

Guy, UPS just dropped off my new motorcycle gloves! The gloves are AGV Raptors. These are the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. They provide excellent dexterity, to the point where you would be able to dial a small cell phone. I love these gloves, the fit is incredible! The only drawback is that they set me back $90, but I guess, you get what you pay for.

Those look pretty nice. Heck I may consider em. Also, 90 bucks isn't as bad is it COULD BE. The pair I want from Alpinestars is about 180 bucks. NO guess there as to why I don't have em......I just think with stuff like this (for the most part) you do pay for what you get. I had a 35 dollar pair of gloves with my first bike and man......they sucked really bad.

Nice. I paid over a hundred for my Alpinestars. Not sure if I'm getting any better protection than you are, though.

My Alpinestars are almost worn through. I'll probably replace them with the same if they still mak e the same model. Mine have held up well over 3 years now!

I've got these Alpinestars - I got them on clearance sale for about 12,000 JPY ($115 USD).

That said, I also wear a pair of leather work gloves (I got a box with three pairs at Costco for $20) - depending on what jacket I'm wearing. The A-stars don't fit with my Ballistic jacket.

Then, for cold weather, there's my army issue lined gauntlets - designed for tank crewmen, they work great as cold weather riding gloves.

^^^^ That's what I'm using. The plates on the fingers make for a tight fit, but otherwise they're great.

i found my perfect gloves not too long ago. FINALLY! They keep my hands super warm, very good movement in my hands. Guess where i bought them. RITE-AID (thrifty drug store) for $15. i couldnt believe it. I've had 4 pairs of gloves from $40-$90 thin to so thick they felt like snow gloves for kids. I can drive in 45degree weather and stay nice and warm. anything below 40 my hands get alittle chilly, but not where near as bad as before. When i got home i'd have to run my hands under warm water , but it was all worth riding.
