Default Looking for advice on exhaust for 2003 GSXR 1000

I am thinking of purchasing a tri-oval Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust for my 2003 GSXR 1000. I wanted to see what you all thought before hand and get any advice as to the mentioned exhaust or any other Yoshimura exhausts that might be recommended. I have found it for about $430. Additionally, what is involved with replacing the exhaust, a bolt on exhuast, not a full system. Do I need to have the bike retuned or anything?

Thanks

I have an rs-3 system on my bike and am quite satisfied. While I had my bike remapped for the system some will say it's overkill. Sounds far superior to stock. and I have no soft spots in torque ( have never top ended the bike). My mechanic kept the valve in place when installing the titanium pipes. He swears you'll lose the explosive acceleration the back pressure produces. you're getting a bolt on so that won't be an issue. I don't think you'll go wrong with the Yoshi. Install and ride for a week of so if you notice reduced low end torque or low max hp think about a remap.

i have a 02 1000 with a micron slip-on. i love the deep sound. it doesn't sound like most aftermarket high pitched pipes...
