Default CBR 600 F4i exhaust mod question

Just purchased a slightly used 06 CBR600F4i! Had only 1450 miles on it and only a few very minor scratches. I love this thing. Its a huge improvement over my 1990 ninja 600.

Anyhow, I purchased a used yoshimura 4 to 1 exhaust system. Got a crazy good deal on it. There is no place for the o2 sensor to be threaded in the aftermarket system. Can anyone tell my why this would be? Personaly I think it would be a bad idea to leave the sensor unplugged or not in the exhaust stream. Doesn't the bike needs those readings to run correctly?

I have already made plans on how to modify the pipe so i can put the sensor in the aftermarket system. Just want to know if there is some reason the sensor bung is not included on the yoshi pipe.

Oh and i'll get some pics of the new bike up soon. i'm at work now and they block everything so i can't get my pics off photobucket.
