I am considering a touring bike to keep my daily driver(Suzuki M50) company at night. I would want something I could load the wife up on and go to the beach(~150 miles), mountains(~250 miles), or to go visit the family(~400 miles). Will these style bikes be good for that kind of riding, or should i lean more towards a standard touring bike(gold wing, suzuki c90t, etc.)?
I like the Kawasaki Concours 14ABS for the money. Anyone here own one that can tell me how they like it? Also, I'm 5'7", and a little worried about the 31" seat height. Are these bikes easily lowered?
