|  I want a quiet, well ventilated helmet.
I've been riding standard bikes and cruisers for years with no helmet. But now that I'm a little older, wiser and transitioning to sportbikes, I want to get a good lid. I have an old full-face helmet that's noisy and hot, so I hate wearing it. With no helmet law, I have to force myself to put it on. I went to a dealer yesterday to try some on...but most people here don't wear helmets, so the dealers only carry the cheapest model from each maker. I'm going to have to special order one or buy one online, so I gotta find fairly reliable info. I've read many online helmet reviews, but info varies and even conflicts between people and sites. So, I need people who have experienced more than one or two helmets to give me some input if possible. One model that seems viable to me is the HJC AC-11. I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with that one. Thanks  |
