| Muscle Biker ![]() | The top-end of a GSX-R 600 is probably in the range of about 230 to 240 kmh (140 to 150 mph). The Yamaha FZ6 has less HP than the GSX-R (98 versus 126), so it's top-end is probably a bit lower, somewhere in the range 130 to 140 mph. But those are my best guess ... I don't know for sure. I know the top-end for my bike (what Suzuki claims, and what I've done), and there is a good 20% difference. Suzuki *claims* that my bike is capable of 235 kmh (145 mph), but even on the Autobahn, I've never had it much above 200 kmh (125 mph). |

| I'd agree with that as real-world numbers. Of course, the speedos will show up to 10% more.

| I don't want to look like a squid for posting this hahaha but I probably will... The indicated top speed on my bike is 167 mph. Most Suzuki speedometers are off by about 10%, so if you subtract 16.7 from 167 you get about 150 mph. Not so sure about the FZ6, but as inspiron said, it's probably about 135ish mph. |

| Sprocket Pilot ![]() | My friend put a tre top end speed eliminator on after I found that my Gixxer stopped at 174. That's another discussion. I took his Gixxer 600 out and rev'd it up on the highway..came right up to 174 then just kinda stopped there..and started creeping up. Maybe it was his bike..not sure.
