120mph in a 94 e320, and then once more in a 93 300zx conv.

Both are cages.

I don't think I would ever try that on a bike. Scary enough in a cage.

120 in a cage is just fun

120 on a bike is just silly

120 mph = 193 kmh ... no problem in a cage (it's legal to go this fast on parts of the German Autobahn). Been there, done that (often) in my Golf.

When you get up around 225 kmh (140 mph) you start to get tunnel vision - your brain starts to focus on the road ahead, blocking out anything in the peripherie, since it can't process the information fast enough. At those kinds of speeds, you have travelled over 200 feet before your brain has processed what it sees, and instructs your muscles to let off the throttle and hit the brakes. This is not a fun feeling...in a cage or on a bike.

I have hit 165 - 170 mph a couple of times... If you want to know if it was actual speed or indicated, Who the hell cares.. it was the fastest I have ever been on a bike....

you have a point there about reaction time, Inspiron. Hi speed in/on any vehicle is a risk and a sanity check is always welcome.

Who cares about speedo error. Just nail that sucker! Who dares wins! I've had 164mph in 4th and 176 in 5th. Not flat out but with luggage on was hard to comfortably hold on for longer. My rucksack felt like a parachute!
