I gave my Concours a brief blip up to 110 mph last weekend on a long empty stretch of four lane. That was good enough for me, but the bike wanted more. I blame the bike, my Suzuki cruisers would never force me over the ton.

My GPS shows my Concours Speedo as my only bike that tells the truth - it must be the non-stock size front tire.

Yeah, I think 170mph is pretty boring too...

Whatever...DaMan, you'd better get one of your "riding buddies" the link to this site so that when you're unable to post and tell us about the horrible accident you were in, they are able to.

I've been into bikes for many years, but can now actually get one. I pick up an 04 gixxer750 on saturday, black and yellow. Any advice for a new rider would be helpful. I realize 750 is a good size bike, but I know how great this bike is. I've got a ton of buddies with bikes and they all said that if you start with a 600 or a 400, then once you get used to it, you quickly want something bigger and faster. So i figure start with this and use restraint. Any advice would be greatly apprefciated, or point me in the right direction.
We pointed, but you didn't follow.

No one's saying WTF. You did exactly what we told you you'd do. No surprises there. There are dead kids all over the country that were just like you.
