|  Hi all quick question.
While riding today I had to down shift to get out of the way of a truck not stopping behind me. I didnt pay attention to how many rpms I was going but all I can say is that the rev limiter kicked in. I would say I hit the max rpm. After the rev limiter kicked in I heard a huge back fire. since my bike has 700 miles on it I was wondering if I destroyed my bike's engine? O btw its a 04 katana if that helps
