OK...somebody locked the thread so us "ordinary" forum members couldn't respond. But does anyone really think this thread was for real, to wit: "hiya's, Im looking to buy something smaller, curently Im riding two busa1300's 1's a turbo other is well not stock but no turbo... and seeing how its going to come-up stage one 250hp, stage two 350, stage three 450... 250-300hp is perfect all rounder 350 and up is just too much for anything. anyway Im looking at a new suzie gsxr750 for my weekend thrash go 'round corners, and day to day ride. but then theres the nagging power feeling thinking I should buy the 1k. anyone with expirence on the both 750 and 1k and which one do you prefer for going around corners on. Im really keen on the 750 but dont want it if Im searching to hard for the power. anyone want to chime in with some expirence" C'mon....it's your first or second post to the M-J forums...do you really ask a serious downsizing question like was asked above? Do you spend the entire first paragraph focusing on the "impressive" numerical details of all the horsepower you're used to? Here's an analogy for the very first time you meet a new person: "Hi, in case you haven't noticed I'm 7 feet tall, can curl over a 1000 lbs. with my left arm and 1500 lbs. with my right arm. Shortly, I will be doubling my weight lifting capacity by injecting testosterone and human growth hormone...can you tell me what I need to lift up a newspaper and a cup of coffee? Thanks and nice to meetcha." C'mon, if it was a serious question it would have read something like this: "Hi, I'm used to riding non-stock Busas and have one with a turbo. I'm looking for a new bike to use for routine street riding. Do you have any opinions on what might be better between the GSXR 750 and the GSXR 1000?" IMHO, the guy was jerking our chains. And no one was really mean...of few of us just answered silliness with silliness. My 2 cents B-Rex |
