Default downgrading from busa

hiya's,
Im looking to buy something smaller, curently Im riding two busa1300's
1's a turbo other is well not stock but no turbo...
and seeing how its going to come-up stage one 250hp, stage two 350,
stage three 450... 250-300hp is perfect all rounder 350 and up is just too much for anything.

anyway Im looking at a new suzie gsxr750 for my weekend thrash go 'round corners, and day to day ride. but then theres the nagging power feeling thinking I should buy the 1k.
anyone with expirence on the both 750 and 1k and which one do you prefer for going around corners on.
Im really keen on the 750 but dont want it if Im searching to hard for the power.
anyone want to chime in with some expirence

The 750 is just fine, I think w/ an aftermarket pipe you can get upwards of about 280 hp at the rear wheel, putting you right in the ballpark.

FluBBEry, I think most serious riders would choose the 750. The 1000 is a track machine by most accounts.

from the bit I've read on subject, the 750 was favored over the 1000 because the 1000's bigger engine made the bike too heavy to maneuver/ less agile.

OK, I'm having a bit of trouble getting my mind around the physics of this. But at first blush I would say your stunt-riding is getting a bit out of hand.

But anyway, if you are riding two 'Busas, then essentially you are on four wheels and wrangling lotsa ponies. That being the case, you need waaaay more horsepower than a measly gixxer can provide.

Therefore I recommend the new Porsche Turbo that is churning out 550 hp (give or take a few). And, if you get the convertible version, you can leave the top down and it will feel more like when you are riding the two 'Busas.

Hope this helps.

I think we can stand to be a bit embarrassed by this thread, folks. Please step back and check your egos a bit. It wasn't fair to judge this guy on one post.

FluBBery, I'd ask you to give us another chance. We can be idiots at times, but on the whole we're slightly above average. We'd welcome your experience.

As somebody I know would say, "I disagree".

The post as written certainly came off as "trollish".

Anybody with his supposed knowledge and experience would certainly already know the answer to the question he asked.

Maybe if he was/is legit, he could be more precise as to why he would want a third less powerfull bike when he owns two copies of the worlds fastest production sportbikes modified to insane levels.

Well, I assumed that they were 1/4 mile track-only bikes, Bob. Maybe he wants something for the street or a road course. At any rate, he's gone now. The point is kinda moot. We'll never know for sure.
