| I would like to know if you can make a CR500R street legal in texas I have a CR500R that is in great shape and runs great and would like to ride it to work I was wanting to know what I would have to do to make it street legal you can buy kits online to put all the light and harness on Dual Sport kits and Dualsport Parts from ProCycle if anyone knows anything about this it would be great

| Is it a 2-stroke? If so, probably not. If not, you should be able to relatively easily. I've seen a lot of ex-dirt bikes turned into street legal supermoto bikes. You will need: lights, blinkers, horn, mirror, DOT approved tires, liscense plate, etc

| yes it is a two stroke I can get all the things I need to make it legal no the site that I put on my last post

| You might be able to get away with it depending on what inspection station you go to but I'm pretty sure 2 strokes are not allowed on the road b/c of emissions..... Although I seem to remember some street bikes from the early 80's that were 2 strokes..... Might want to go talk to your local dealer and/or inspection station
