| I rode a 96 s1 lightning 2 days ago and that was a fun bike. The guy had too much custom on it to justify the price but damn that thing pulled hard. From my distant memories of riding the vmax, that s1 seemed to have a lot more instant gratification regarding torque, and no real power band, just raw power all the way through. Honestly though, I think it was too much power for me. |

It's supposedly on sale. I haven't seen one. From what I've heard they should be refining it. It was conspicuously absent from the Buell Demo Team trailer that was in my town last month. Right on the heels of a bad review. Most of the stuff in the review, was mainly little things that needed to be sorted out, but still makes for a poor experience.
