| Buell's never been right . . . they've just been "less wrong" than Harley, that's all. Yes, it appears that the undertail fad has (thankfully) gone away as quickly as it came. I never liked them, but I can't really say why. After reading about them, I like them even less. Good riddance.

| Yep. That was one of the things that I really liked about the GSXR. The bulk of the muffler/catalyst/etc. is located under the bike and/or very low.

| So does my Duc. I hate being right behind bikes like that cuz they blow right into my face!!! Even with the visor down, I feel choked.

| Since when did a mfg ever care what aftermarket prices were? I figure they got away from the can under the seat because there were few advantages and it would cost more to make the bike that way. Usually the cheapest design wins; failing that the next cheapest design that "looks cool." Cool being a very subjective thing and all.
