| Good Afternoon This is the first time I've entered any forum so bear with me. I own a Suzuki DL650 VStrom (2007). It's a great bike and my girlfriend Eva and I are having a wonderful time travelling. Just one problem-the sound. It sounds kind of "Maytaggish". I'm looking for either OEM or aftermarket tailpipe(s) that will give the bike a little more growl. Not loud and obnoxious, just throatier. Any help would be greatly appreciated. John |

| Welcome, John. My first recommendation is always Holeshot Performance Products, Inc.. Dale Walker is a good guy who knows how to take care of his customers. His products are designed for quality and performance, not bling. Edit: I see he only lists a slip-on for models up to 2006. You might contact him to find out more.

| This is a great forum for general information, and there are some really fun/interesting/informative personalities on here, but for technical information on the V Stroms, there are better places to look. Try Stormtroopers.com, or the V-Strom forum.. Not only will you find many options for pipes, but there are some sound bites that are quite good, so you can hear before you buy. All, in all, there are about 4, or 5 forums that are dedicated to the V Stroms. I put a set of Leo Vance pipes on my DL 1000, and I am quite happy with them. They have a removable baffle, so when I want to, I can still be fairly quiet. The sound is kind of like a cross between a Buell, and a Ducati.
