| sport touring bike. Was thinking of the kawasaki concours. I never even riden never mind owned a kawy. i am looking at the ST1300 and the yamamaha also. What do you guys think? Jim

| No Significant Other ![]() | I believe they have finally redesigned the Concours. If it's half as good as the old concours, it would still be bullet proof. I always wanted one for longer rides.

| ... ![]() | new connie is around $13k US. dunno how many places have had a chance to review it and compare it to the ST and FJR, though. not that many years ago, the ZZR1200 was compared to the ST and FJR, and it wasn't quite up to snuff in some respects (but much better in power and speed and i think handling, which isn't all that surprising since it was based on the ZX-12R)

| Between the FJR, Concourse, and ST1300, I'd go with the new FJR. The Connie is a bit better on power, but it's more expensive, I think. They're all popular bikes.
