 |  How To Unload a Bike?
Ok, I did a search but didn't see this discussed before so I appologize if it has been... In about 3 weeks, I will be leaving to go back to college in NYC. I live about 4 hours away and although I may be capable of driving that distance, I am a new sportbike rider and just feel more comfortable trucking my bike down there. My bike easily fits in the back of my 2003 Ford pickup and loading it here isn't a problem. However, and good ideas on an easy way to unload it in NYC? The best thought I had was a loading dock somewhere, but I don't want to depend on that idea in case I cant find one. To me it seems a little dangerous trying to back it down 2x6's, especially since the bike would have to be backed down since the front points towards the cab of the truck. So, has anyone dealt with something like this? Any ideas/suggestions?
