I have been away from the forum scene for a few weeks. Had to reformat my computer and get everthing back the way I want it. BUt anyways It is time for a new rear tire, went riding today and met another gsx-r 600 rider, we rode near eachother for a bit and after us both almost nailing a car that pulled out of a parking lot and crossed both of our lanes to stop at the yellow line to wait for on comming traffic, we both had to slam the brakes hard and then monouver out of the way to get around, we shook out heads at eachother and stopped at a local gas station to talk. He was checking out my bike while I was to his, since his is a 92. He noticed a decent flat spot that has worn itself in. It is an old tire, from when I bought my bike used. My bike 02 gsx-r600, believe to be stop rims. Curious on what type of tire u guys recommend that is not steep. Was going to wait until the end of the riding season to get a new one but I hit the turns hard and since I got a close guy who rides all the time with a pack of 20 friends, I will be riding more. Don't want to slip on a quick turn. Thanks for the help. Sry about the story, I hate CAGE people. Who the heck crossing into the two lanes and stops with the nose of the car on the yellow line waiting for traffic to clear to get across? |
