|  Dropped my bike... again
Well I did it again, I dropped it. This time right in front of a bunch of people and another biker. Boy was I embarassed! There I was in a parking lot, got on the bike started it, turned the wheel hard right, and down went the bike.  Now I need to wait a week until I get a new mirror shipped to me. Bahhhh. This week just has not been very good to me. I just picked the pick up from the shop where I had the "pleasure" of being told that: 1) The great new chain the previous owner put on was junk and I needed to replace it. 2) They could not repack my muffler to make it quieter. It seems the previous owner who replaced the stock system with a single piece Yoshimura, also decided to remove the baffle and thus there is nothing in my muffler (which is why it is so noisy). Yoshimura does not sell replacement baffles, and neither the shop nor I was able to locate a compatible slavage muffler that we could pull the baffle from. What a day/week!  |
