I'm at work, it's Friday, it's 38 balmy degrees outside and the sun is shining. I think I'm gonna' go out back into the shop and pull out my first bike (and only bike) and take her for a little spin.

Midol for the soul.

Hey guys, i think its just about what you mentally feel you are capable of riding. My first bike is, cuz i still have it...a Suzuki TL 1000 R, and i am in love with it. Just take it slow, dont push it past what you feel you can handle, cuz the bigger bikes will move so fast that you wont know what hit you. Theres a reason they call the superbikes.

Thats quite a first bike princess ... i'll admit that given the choice it may have been mine too. Whats more dangerous, the power of a big bike or the pitiful drum brakes on MY first bike.

Well I learned how to ride on a 600. SO when it came time to buy a 750 was my first choice

33 days and counting ...

I have agreed with my insurance agent that I will re-register my bike on March 15th ... so winter has another 3 weeks to dump rain and snow here. After that, all I want to see is rising temperatures and sunny blue skies.

(looking at the sky) ARE YOU LISTENING UP THERE ???
