|  Looking for Opinions
Hello All, I am new to the site and I would like to say hello and it looks like a nice place you have here. Here is my story, I am thinking of getting a new bike ... I have not been riding for almost 20 years or so. I have had lots of bikes in the past ... Yamaha DT250, Penton 400, Kawasaki 400 twin, RD 400, Kawasaki 750 triple, and a Honda 750 four all in the days before the helmet law. I am looking to get a new one as I live in the Los Angeles Area and I commute 71 miles (x2) on the freeway to get to work. I do not want to be in traffic anymore and I miss the riding and the freedom it has to offer just cruzzin around. I need something that will haul my 5-9" 225 lb. but around. I can only remember the suspension systems back then as "pogo-sticks" on the freeways even with the 750's. Ok, .... I'm open to suggestions! Thanks Bill |
