Hi guys, my buddy is selling his '04 GS500F for $2,500. It has 9,000 miles and has not been wrecked besides being dropped going about 5 mph in a parking lot haha(i was there when it happened). Im curious if this seems like a decent price to you guys?

That sounds very reasonable. I was at a Honda dealer today and they had one for about $4000, IIRC. They're notoriously overpriced, though.

None of us would really know unless we've shopped them recently. Did you check cycletrader?

I just bought my '05 GS500F for $4898, with only 1100 miles on it. Didn't get a deal because they gave me almost all I paid for my trade. I figure if I was a cash customer, I might have gotten it for quite a bit less, maybe 4k.

Absolutely. Best choice I ever made. It's fast, but not to the point that one wrong flick will send you shooting out to Dodge City. Besides, a little birdie told me it's the baby brother of what was for a very long time, the fastest production bike available.

Plus it looks good

A 2004 with 9000 miles, dealers around here would be asking more like $3500.00. Sounds like a good deal to me.
