Tires are clown-car style. No way, saw a dude with blue on the back (black on the front) almost fell off my bike laughing. I would stick with performance over style with tires. When you find yourself in a bush, wonder if you look good doing it.

Now put the chick on your bike, that is style .....

At least if they have different color tires on front and back they won't get confused when getting on and will at least be facing the right way.

I'm fine with it, and I have strict taste in vehicles. The right color combination can look great. And the company seems to have a good reputation for quality. The gray ones might actually work for the Bandit.

As for the model, .

Oh, and I don't consider color changes "mods". Modifications are traditionally about performance, not aesthetics.

Those tires are cool, I think I like the black ones best .

Kinda tacky looking. But, over the last ten years, tacky has been huge for certain crowds......so go for it if that is your style.

P.S. Do they have "rainbow" tires too?

Hi all,

I'm both new here and to the sport (love it, btw!)

Anyway, someone earlier mentioned spinners on cars, I've also seen spinners are now available for bikes...question is, wouldn't that throw the balance off for a motorcycle? Maybe it's just me but that's a scary thought...feedback?

i would think that spinners would not through off the bike since the wheels are just massive gyroscopes. Plus I have only seenthem on choppers and not on Sprot Bikes..

However I did see them on a big rig once... talk about weird... but cool in a strange sort of way... LOL

My question is about the performance of those tires...do those color additives change the grip of the rubber? I suspect yes. I also think that the hue of the tire may change with wear and tear...after 500 miles you may find that the perfectly matched tire does not match your bike anymore. The road crap will change the color too: oilspots, minor cracks and cuts etc. will be very visible on a light colored tire (there were even white tires there). My 2 cents is, if you want to keep the bike in a museum, then put on colored tires. If you want to ride a lot, forget it.
