Default New Rider info

Hi ma fella biker buds, just thought i would add some imput into the wonderful world of biking. Just a bit of help for the new bikers out there wondering what bike to get. Although my first bike was a GSXR-600 and plenty of people tried to put me off telling me i shouldnt as its far to powerful i still went ahead and bought one. After riding for over a year now i can totally understand what they meant now. They are very powerful machines and need 100% concentration at all times and the upmost respect. Ive had some very near misses but thankfully ive havent come off, and hope i never do. My near misses have been from not giving the bike the respect it deserves. Put it this way ive grown up pretty damm quick on that bike. So from riding one myself as ma first bike, i agree with rowdyred94 they are not ideal for first time riders. yes i managed to get thru ma first summer on it, but the misses ive had could of ended up a whole different story quite easily and im so thankfull that i kept ma rubber side down, plus its only ma first year and ive still got so much learning to do. I dont wanna put people off getting a 600 sportsbike i just wanna let them know the dangers from my own experience and add a bit of advice and knowledge and hopefully save lifes as far too many bikers are going to heaven to early. A friend of mine purchased a trials bike for his first bike but got sick of it quickly and upgraded to a R1 within half a year, guess what? he came off it and luckily for him it was only a broken wrist, but just shows you doesnt it! Hope i can help, be safe.
