|  GSXR Chain Tension
I just adjusted the chain tension on my new 06GSXR750. I thought I'd need a pit bull stand to do it, but the owner's manual said to do it on the sidestand. I found that odd. My 2002Bandit600 (which has a centerstand, btw  ) says to adjust the chain tension on the centerstand.I much prefer doing it on the centerstand as opposed to the sidestand. It just seems right that there should be no tension on the wheel while making the adjustment. What does your owner's manual say regarding side- versus center-stand and chain tension adjustment? |
