The light is on because the computer detected a fault, not just to annoy you. First, I'd put the proper grade of gasoline in it. You don't say where you're from, so I don't know what units you're statiing octane in, but I'd quit with the race gas. You're wasting your money, and that might be the problem in the first place.

Go through the maintenance checklist in your manual, then take it back to the seller or to someone who can read the code. Don't just try to shut the light off. That's like spray-painting over your skin cancer.

Welcome.

If you know how to work on your bike, and you have a maintenance manual, it will explain that there is a connector somewhere under the seat that you can short out in order to get an error code displayed on the instrument panel. Write the code down (since it gets reset as soon as you take the key out), and look it up in your manual (or google it). Then fix whatever problem it is reporting.

And I agree with Rowdy - stop wasting money on high-octane fuel. Read your owner's manual, and fuel the bike with whatever the manufacturer recommends. If you are in Europe, you should probably be using 93 octane. 97 or 98 (super / super-plus) is a waste of money - higher cost, zero benefit.

Now that we know your location, the fuel advice is irrelevant. 93 should be fine.

if it is a brand new bike, friggin take it to the dealer and ask them what's going on and why your 6 day old bike is already acting up.

I'm not sure how octane is measured in India. If you use the same method as Europe (RON - research octane method) , you should probably be using 93 octane (regular).

As far as the FI light goes, as I mentioned above, there is a socket under the seat somewhere (I'm not sure where) that you can short-circuit so that the error code shows on the display. Once you know that code, you can post it here and someone may be able to give you more information how to interpret the code. I don't have a GSX-R, so I can't help you much beyond this.

And yes, I'm a volunteer fire fighter.
