Default sissy bar

Has anyone put a small sissybar on a sportbike/standard?? I am looking into it for my longtime gf as she has a bad back and occasionally needs to rest her back on something for longer rides. I am thinking about fabbing one to attach(weld) to my grab bar and prolly weld a gusset in there somewhere for strength. Here is what im thinking of putting on.

The only I've seen on a sportbike was on a 'Busa.

There are several available for Bandits, and my Givi luggage has an optional back pad.

I'm not sure how you'd mount that to an SV. I'd fabricate a mounting bracket before I'd mangle the stock bar.

I've seen somewhere someone modify a SWMotech rear luggage bracket to hold a back rest on an SV. But don't remember where.

i thought i did, but apparently the pics I have are with the backrest removed. The pics of my bike are in http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...i-zzr1200.html

just imagine a standard corbin backrest coming out the back of the seat.

I have often wondered how common the seat mounting is from suzuki model to model. Namely the katana, sv, gs, and the vstrom.
