Default it wont start

i have a 2005 suzuky gsxr 750cc and it on wont start. it only has 700 miles on it i harly drive it and i havent started it for like a month. and today wen i started it it hesitated on the start and i drove it around for 15 minutes came home turned it off and it wouldnt start or even rev. you think it might be the battery, i hardly start it so im wondering if the battery went bad. thankyou for any info..

the battery should bea min of about 11.8v, also look at the cells to make sure they are above the minimum level (which ensures the plates are all fully covered in acid)

oh that is unless its a gel cell, in which case measure the voltage, if its low, hook it uptoa trickle charger, see ifyou can rectify it.

thaxs will do. i got the bike brand new but really havent rode it just sits there so i kinda got scared when it didnt want to start. thanxs alot i hope thats the problem
