Well, I listened to your advice on getting a bike based on my lack of experience and starting off. I talked to a friend that has a 2000 Kawasaki Ninja 500r with 9K miles on it. The front fairing is loose because the owner before him laid it down a few times and repainted it (looks fine), but the headlight MAY come loose if a hard bump hits the bike. The only other issue is that the bike is originally from Canada and I live in Seattle, so km/hr vs mph is different. The total cost: $1500!!! I am EXCITED! I went to a local shop for gear and a buddy recommended Joe Rocket, Icon, or (my phone was fuzzy, I think he said alpinestars) Any thoughts? I AM TAKING AN MSF BEFORE I RIDE! Jason P.S. I will be updating this as time progresses. P.P.S - Can anyone get me a mph tach that FITS MY BIKE for cheap? |
