i just ordered the M4 Slip on (Black) for my 06 Gixxer 600. Anybody ever heard an M4? How much louder will it be over stock. I guess it doesnt matter because it is on its way here...i am just wondering what kind of sound it will produce.

All I can say is that a guy that took the MSF course with me had an Honda RC51 1000 with some crazy modified exhaust on it. And to this day I have never heard a sound so beastly come from a bike. The next time I see him I'll try and find out what exactly he did to it cause believe me its one of a kind.

Does "beastly" mean good??

I have heard that the M4 will have a deeper, more aggressive sound than the D+D...but i have never heard one in person.

Just to make it a little more complicated, check out GPR's product line as well...Good stuff.

I have had my M4 installed for several weeks now and i love it. It sounds great, it is louder than stock but it isnt aggravating. It has a deeper, more aggressive sound.

I have a two brithers on my 2006 1000 GSXR - it did improve performance!! and the sound is incredible. I had a 4 in 2 Joshi on my Busa. The sound was by far not as nice, and I was disappointed with the quality. The springs started rusting after just 6 month!!!

ematheus - you don't by any chance have a few sound clips of the Two Brothers do you?? I listened to a few on a couple of websites but none actually recorded by someone other than a selling company.
Did you find TB to be too loud or did it seem ok?

I'm just currious because I've been looking at TB for awhile now.

for another perspective, try "staintune" pipes, australian product acd a very good build quality. They sound great on most bikes and absolutely orgasmic on any v twin/fours *grin*

Hi kryo:
Sorry I don't have sound clips. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the best sounding exhausts. It's loud, but not annoying. As a matter of fact, I just put one on my sv650s!!!
