Default GSX-R600 Oil Capacity

Hello all this is my first post to this forum. i recently bought a completely stock unmodified 1993 GSX-R600 in exellent condition with 12.000 miles on it. I use this bike as my daily driver year round and put quite a few miles on it. It's past time to change the oil but i don't have the manuel for it. My question is, what is the oil capacity of a 1993 GSX-R600?

Thanks.

i thought that this site would have it... http://www.motorbikes.be/models.asp?id=1862

anyway, maybe you should look in your owners manual, or pick up a manual.

with the bike on level ground and upright, with a new filter pour in oil until it reaches half way up the sight glass. or about 3.4 qts.

Get yourself a decent workshop manual - you'll be surprised how often you find it useful, especially if you don't have the handbook.
The figure cast on the engine cover is the oil capacity (eg 2500cc).

I finally called Suzuki a couple weeks ago and got some Indian guy, i guess Suzuki moved their call center to India like a lot of companies, and asked the same question. I couldn't really understand him to well but he got my question and phone number and hung up on me. About an hour later I got a call back from Suzuki, a different person, and he told that it takes 4 quarts, very helpful.
