Default Does this sound like a good deal?

The wife has given approval to me for purchasing a new bike. I found the following deal:

2003 GSX-R 1000 (Silver) - for $9000 + T&L.

That gets me out the door after tax & License for about $9,750.

The bike is brand new with 0 miles and full factory warranty.

So, is this a good deal? It was as far as I could get him down.

I say....Go for it! That's less than I paid for my 02 new. Besides it's an awesome bike. You'll love it, but give it lots of respect. They've got a ton of power that can bite back hard if you make a mistake. Let us know what you decide.

Well, as you may have seen in another post, I bought the bike and even got it for a bit better deal. I paid $8,893 Plus tax & license, so if the dealer cost was $8,880, I guess I did get a pretty good deal eh?

By the way, I LOVE the bike!

Thanks everyone for the input!

Be careful until you learn the bike. It's real easy to spin a rear wheel or lift the front end. Can really suck in a corner when that happens!
Hope you enjoy it for a lot of miles to come. If you get bored one weekend ride down to LA for some new canyons to play in!
