| I ordered a grey/silver gsxr 1000 2 months ago and my dealership still hasn't received the bike. Has anyone else run into this issue recently? I understand that the bike is in high demand...this being my first Suzuki purchase after many years on a honda I'm curious if this is typical for their hottest selling bikes? |

| Sorry you have problems - my dealer here has it in stock... Got mine (blue) about 3 weeks ago - picked it from the floor.

| There are 3 on the floor @ my local dealership right now. They stay for about 4 days then they're sold & more come in a few days later.

| I had a similar experence with my R1. The first dealership said they had the blue that I wanted in the back. So I put a hold on it. It turns out that as they went back the next day to get it out of the crate and get it set up for me that they misread the color code!! I was just finishing at ISU at the time so I was busy with final projects so I wasn't too upset about having to wait for their next shipment to come in. At first they said it would be in in a week, the a few weeks, then a month and then they admited that they had no idea when they would get more. Long story short I ended up requesting my hold money back and drove about 90miles further to pick up the blue I wanted. Needless to say the first dealership lost all my business. |

| Nice to have options! Always nice to have options. Take advantage of 'em as much as you can 'cause we don't know what the near future holds.

| my dealer had all 3 colors available (still in the box), I just had to pick the color I wanted. Two months is way to long. Make sure the dealer is doing everything it can to get you the bike
